Infrastructure - basic physical and organizational structures needed for the operation of a society or enterprise, or the services and facilities necessary for an economy to function. It can be generally defined as the set of interconnected structural elements that provide framework supporting an entire structure of development. It is an important term for judging a country or region's development.

We are here with one of such Infrastructures in Kochi - The business Capital of Kerala state of India. What you see in the photo is an ancient bridge, which connects Eastern and western Kochi. We had only this bridge to cross this river.

Now we have two bridges, new and old Venduruthi bridges. The new one carries heavy vehicles and old one for two wheeler.

This happened  on 16th of September 2012. I was on the way back from a shoot at Fort Kochi. On which Day I captured, "a sunny view of fort Kochi and "men @ work". I got this view  from the bridge near Willingdon Island Kochi. It was too sunny.. hot weather.. Stopped my bike in the shades of woods, and ran back to the bridge, to get him in through my lens. Got it like this..
For some people around me, this view is a nostalgic feeling, because this is a part of their childhood. Someone, who is migrated to Kochi, this is a feel of Joy, because they hangout here. People who visited and went back from Kochi, this is a memory, a memory of Ancient Engineering, which makes them coming back again and again to God's Own Country.
